Kay has been an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) for over twenty
years, most recently as a partner in her own well-known London-based firm.
She has also been an Associate member of the British Association for
Counselling and Psychotherapy for the last eight years.
Now in her late fifties, she has relinquished her partnership to focus
her lifelong interest in general financial counselling. She aims to
provide practical support and advice on non-product specific issues to
people dealing with emotional as well as financial changes in their lives.
The counselling service stands alone and it will be usual to involve an
introductory session with a number of follow-up sessions as required. It
can also be used to complement independent financial advice where there
will be a referral service as and when required. Kay will not be providing
recommendations on specific products regulated by the Financial Services
Act 1986.
As an IFA, Kay's opinion has been sought by both the national and trade
press, and she has appeared on television and radio.
