Gillian was born and brought up in New Zealand
and has lived in London for many years. She has taught science in schools
and colleges for over 20 years, during which she gained a Diploma from the
Centre of Nutritional Studies.
Her work in the nutritional field has led to
recognition by many journalists. She was recommended by the Evening
Standard as one of "The 10 best nutrition consultants in London".
Her interest and knowledge on the whole
complementary approach to health and well-being prompted her to devise,
develop and lead the access course called 'Preparation for Alternative
Medicine'. This enables adults without scientific qualifications to
progress towards professional training courses in various disciplines such
as homoeopathy and osteopathy.
Gillian is also a qualified practitioner of
reflexology, a valuable addition to her skills and knowledge.
She has worked at The Wren since it opened
as All Hallows House in 1990. As well as working here,
Gillian also works in an NHS practice in London and as part of
a team who run survival courses for major City companies.
